The 11 times table
The 11 times table lists 11 × 1 up to 11 × 12. Below you will find the full chart, the quickest way to learn it, the few facts that are really new, and free practice.
The full 11 times table
- 11 × 1 = 11
- 11 × 2 = 22
- 11 × 3 = 33
- 11 × 4 = 44
- 11 × 5 = 55
- 11 × 6 = 66
- 11 × 7 = 77
- 11 × 8 = 88
- 11 × 9 = 99
- 11 × 10 = 110
- 11 × 11 = 121
- 11 × 12 = 132
The easiest way to learn the 11 times table
Up to 11 × 9, write the digit twice: 11 × 7 = 77.
Then 11 × 10 = 110, 11 × 11 = 121 and 11 × 12 = 132: split the digits of the number you multiply by (10, 11 or 12) and write their sum in the middle: 12 → 1_2, and 1 + 2 = 3, so 132.
Which facts are really new?
Swapping the order does not change the answer (11 × 3 = 3 × 11), so if you already know the tables up to 10, only these 2 facts are new: 11 × 11, 11 × 12.
The pattern in the last digits
The last digits of 11 × 1 up to 11 × 10 are 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 0. Then the pattern starts again.
