Which facts are really new?
Swapping the order does not change the answer (5 × 3 = 3 × 5), so if you already know the tables up to 4, only these 8 facts are new: 5 × 5, 5 × 6, 5 × 7, 5 × 8, 5 × 9, 5 × 10, 5 × 11, 5 × 12.
The pattern in the last digits
The last digits of 5 × 1 up to 5 × 10 are 5, 0, 5, 0, 5, 0, 5, 0, 5, 0. Then the pattern starts again.
